Working with our Partners

Openness & Transparency

At Amarin, we are committed to acting with openness and transparency across all our interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs), healthcare organizations (HCOs) and patient organizations (POs).

Working effectively with HCPs, HCOs and POs is crucial in our mission to help transform the lives of cardiovascular patients in Europe. Our work with these organizations provides valuable insights, as well as independent and expert knowledge in their respective fields. From research and clinical trials to our medical education support, Amarin constantly strives to ensure that HCPs and other external stakeholders are empowered by providing access to appropriate information about our products and services so that they can make informed independent decisions in the best interests of their patients.

The following transfers of value may be applicable depending on the external stakeholders engaged by Amarin:

All transfers of value by Amarin to our partners will be published on our EU website. Payments will be recorded in the calendar year they are made and will be disclosed by 30th June the year after.

Amarin will work with its external partners to ensure that the company meets its transparency reporting obligations through a robust, compliant process which will also be underpinned by appropriate data protection. Individual disclosures will be reported on the receipt of the appropriate consent. If no such consent is received, Amarin will make its disclosure on the local code association portal.

Ensuring that we meet our transparency reporting obligations is a critical component of our overall commitment to putting our patients at the centre of everything we do.
